Bridal Bouquet

When it comes to wedding florals, few things are as iconic as the bridal bouquet. The design of your bouquet is completely dependent on the style and detail of your wedding gown as well as the overall theme of your wedding celebration. Your floral designer can help you select which one is right for you so be sure to bring a picture of your gown to the consultation. Here are some popular styles of wedding bouquets:

Cascade – The most formal and most traditional of all bouquets, it is designed to spill gracefully over the hands and flow downward. Almost any flower can be used in this bouquet. It is typically rounded at the top and pointy at the bottom.

Handtied – A rounded bouquet of flowers that can either be loose and unstructured or formal and wired. Either style has the natural stems wrapped in satin, velvet or organza ribbon and often embellished with pearls and beading.

Nosegay – A tight posey of flowers with additions of satin or organza ribbon. Traditionally this type of bouquet has more greenery than other bouquets.

Arm – A bouquet of long-stemmed flowers and foliage that is cradled in the arm. Also known as a presentation bouquet. It can be a simple or elegant as you like. Popular flower choices are calla lilies, gladiolus, orchids, roses, delphinium, and larkspur.
